Mount Fund backs early-stage startups regardless of sector, while maintaining a particular interest in health, fintech, wellness, sports and medical technology. On the venture capital side it leads pre-seed and seed rounds with tickets up to £500,000 and supports companies in subsequent rounds. Through its venture buy-out program it finances a growth-through-acquisition model for early-stage companies, writing checks up to £15,000,000 plus an equity kicker up to £500,000, and provides fast financing without deal-by-deal approval.
