Champel Capital

Amir Weitmann is a licensed investment advisor and asset manager who has worked in asset management since 2004. From 2010 to 2017 he was a Senior Investment Advisor at Bank Hapoalim, and in 2017 he co-founded Champel Capital with Arié to focus on Israeli technology investments. He holds a BA and an MA in International Relations from the Geneva Graduate Institute of International Studies and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Arié Benguigui began his career in 1999 as an equity proprietary trader at UBP in Geneva and managed a long/short equity hedge fund from 2006 to 2009. He has invested across multiple asset classes since 2010, entered venture capital in 2013, and co-founded Champel Capital in 2017 with Amir to invest in Israeli technology companies. He holds an MS in Economics with a minor in econometrics from the University of Geneva.

Omer Bohbot began his career as a private investor and, after military service in the Armored Corps, worked at the Fingenom group operating algorithmic trading systems. He joined Champel Capital in 2020 and is completing a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Yonatan Sorochkin is CEO of Spring Nordic. His background includes approximately 10 years in CFO roles covering venture capital financing across Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds totaling over 50 million USD, M&A activity including the sale of Fiberblaze A/S to Silicom Ltd., and the establishment of overseas subsidiaries, alongside 15 years in international sales and business development across the US, Asia, and Europe. He has worked in industries including semiconductors, internet service providers, electronics, and software, primarily in startup environments as well as mature companies, and has spent extended periods living in the US, Luxembourg, and Africa.
