Investment thesis
GiTV invests early in deep-tech startups and bridges breakthrough innovations with Japan's major industrial corporations. From its Tokyo base and networks across Europe, the US and Israel, it backs visionary founders building high-impact technologies that transform traditional industrial sectors and advance decarbonization and net-zero goals. Its GX Fund targets climate and deep-tech innovation for decarbonization and circular economy, including low-carbon materials, circular production, emissions monitoring, energy-efficient factories, renewables, energy storage, hydrogen, CCUS, direct air capture, next-generation EVs and autonomous driving. GiTV works closely with portfolio companies to integrate technologies into Japan's manufacturing sector and forge strategic corporate partnerships.
