Randy Cohen (Randolph B. Cohen), PhD, is the MBA Class of 1975 Senior Lecturer of Entrepreneurial Management at Harvard Business School, where he teaches finance and entrepreneurship and leads Field X, a course for MBA students starting businesses. He has previously served as an Associate Professor at HBS and a Visiting Associate Professor at MIT Sloan, and his research covers money manager selection, asset allocation, risk management, municipal securities, cryptocurrency, and longevity insurance. He has helped start and grow several businesses, mainly in investment management, and holds an AB in mathematics from Harvard College and a PhD in finance and economics from the University of Chicago.
