Marc Faucher is Managing Partner at ArcTern Ventures, where he focuses on backing innovations aimed at decarbonization. He previously co-founded and served as COO of Unata, an e-commerce platform acquired by Instacart in 2018, and held partner roles at BlackBerry Partners Fund and Summerhill Venture Partners, along with earlier positions at Ericsson and The McKenna Group. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Mira Inbar began her career as an environmentalist working in mining in Africa before spending over a decade in the chemical, utility, and oil & gas sectors, where she built clean energy business lines. She helped establish a battery manufacturing plant for Dow Chemical, a solar and wind portfolio for NRG Energy, and a home energy business for Shell, most recently serving as Shell's head of residential power. She holds a BS from Oberlin College and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and received the 2019 C3E Award from the US Department of Energy.

Murray McCaig is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at ArcTern Ventures with a background in building technology companies. He founded and led several startups, including Spotnik Mobile (a wireless technology company acquired by TELUS), EnviroTower (an energy efficiency solution for commercial buildings), and Fluence Corporation (a municipal and industrial water treatment business), and earlier worked as a principal at the Silicon Valley strategy consulting firm McKenna Group. He holds an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University and competed for Canada as an Olympian at the 1992 Barcelona games.

Tom Rand began working in software in high school before founding Voice Courier Inc. (VCi), which served the Interactive Voice Response market and grew to over 100 employees across three countries before being sold in 2005. He previously co-developed Planet Traveller, a low-carbon hotel project in Toronto, and now works in cleantech venture capital, technology incubation and commercialization, and public advocacy focused on carbon mitigation. He holds a BASc from the University of Waterloo, an MSc from the University of London, and an MA and PhD from the University of Toronto, and has authored three books.

Tyler Christie is a company builder turned investor focused on climate, applied AI, and enterprise software at the growth stage. He was a Managing Director at BlackRock, where he helped establish the $1.4B Decarbonization Partners fund with Temasek, and has served as a Venture Partner at Extantia and Norrsken. His earlier career includes serving as CEO of sustainability analytics platform AMEE, leading product and go-to-market at Axiom, and co-founding digital health company Parla; he holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA in Geography from Middlebury College.

Dinesh Ganesan is a Principal at ArcTern Ventures with an engineering background and experience across energy, investments, and startups in the US, Europe, and Asia. He began his career in Singapore at New Energy Nexus and later at Berkeley Energy, a private equity firm focused on renewables in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, before working on venture and M&A opportunities at Equinor across areas including carbon, power, minerals, and recycling. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's in Metal & Energy Finance from Imperial College London.

Andrew Chisholm serves on the Board of Directors of Royal Bank of Canada. He spent about 30 years at Goldman Sachs & Co, which he joined in 1985 in New York, holding senior leadership roles including senior strategy officer, head or co-head of the Global Financial Institutions Group, and co-chair of the firm-wide Commitments Committee. He holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School, where he chairs the Advisory Board, and has an interest in sustainability.

Fiona Hamilton is an Associate at ArcTern Ventures with an engineering background and prior experience in investment banking and management consulting. At BCG in Toronto and Amsterdam, she advised utilities and mining companies on corporate strategy and decarbonization, and worked with institutional and private equity clients on climate and sustainability investment strategy and due diligence. She holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.

Jackson Wright is an Associate at ArcTern Ventures with a background in go-to-market, management consulting, and B2B SaaS. He spent four years at BCG advising mining and industrial clients on strategy, decarbonization, and operations, including a secondment to lululemon's go-to-market team where he worked on supply-chain, merchandising, and planning. Before BCG, he was one of the earliest employees at Diversio, a Toronto-based people-intelligence platform, and he studied Commerce at Queen's University.

Louisa Liu is Chief Financial Officer at ArcTern Ventures, overseeing the firm's finance, fund operations, reporting, and compliance functions. She has over twenty years of experience in private markets, with prior senior finance and operations roles at CPP Investments, OMERS, and Macquarie North America. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.

Shamma Urbee is a Senior Finance Associate at ArcTern Ventures who spent five years in financial services before joining the firm. She previously worked at Canoe Financial, gaining fund and operational experience with Canadian mutual funds and hedge funds. She holds a BCom in Economics and Finance from McGill University.

Sophie Vaughan is Head of Impact and Investor Relations at ArcTern Ventures' Toronto office, where she oversees environmental impact, ESG, and LP reporting. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, she previously worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Arup, focusing on EU Sustainable Finance and decarbonization strategies, and earlier as a Mechanical Engineer designing low-carbon HVAC systems. She holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Engineering with Business from University College Dublin.
