Tom Biegala is a frontier technology investor and engineer with two decades of experience across the company lifecycle, from early R&D through IPO. He previously worked at Cascade Asset Management Company managing venture investments for the Gates Foundation and Gates family offices, and earlier held engineering roles at Intel and university spinouts focused on solar technologies. He holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
