Gideon Soesman co-founded Greensoil Investments in 2012 and serves as a Managing Partner in Greensoil Ag & Food Tech and Greensoil Proptech Ventures, having led the firm's ag and food tech investments. He previously founded GMS Capital, a boutique investment bank, and held M&A and corporate strategy roles at Royal Philips Electronics, as well as positions at consulting firms Shaldor and Ergo. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an M.A. in Business Administration from Boston University / Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Dave Kolada joined Greensoil in 2019 to help launch Greensoil PropTech Ventures Fund II, where he serves as Fund Manager. He previously advised corporate and investment management clients, served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the RIC Centre (now Altitude Accelerator), and was VP, Venture Capital at OpenText Corporation, managing its $100 million VC portfolio. Earlier in his 30+ year career he held senior roles including SVP Corporate Development and CFO at Eloqua, Senior Director of Strategic Investment at Cognos, Partner at Jefferson Partners, and roles at SDTC, Lazard Frères, and BMO Nesbitt Burns; he holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University.

Jamie James has worked in sustainability for three decades across sustainable forestry, biodiversity conservation, and real estate development and construction. As Managing Partner at Greensoil PropTech Ventures, he handles investment lead generation, deal structuring, and investment decisions, focusing on early-stage companies working to decarbonize the built environment. He previously served as lead sustainability advisor to Tridel, was a partner at Windmill Development Group, launched the sustainable proptech fund 350 Capital in 2009, and founded the Tower Labs @MaRS accelerator in 2011. He holds a master's in environmental science from the Yale School of the Environment.

Dana Goldman Szekely joined Greensoil PropTech Ventures in 2021 and works across the firm's investment activities, including fundraising, sourcing and evaluating deals, due diligence, and portfolio management. She has over 15 years of experience in technology and corporate finance, previously serving as a Principal at Claridge Israel and holding M&A and corporate development roles at Amdocs, plus earlier work at Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services team. She holds a BA in Accounting, Economics and Management and an MBA from Tel Aviv University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.

Dmitri Belenki joined Greensoil PropTech Ventures (GSPV) in July 2025, with over five years of venture capital experience. He previously worked as an Investment Fellow at Frontier Ventures in Cupertino, California, where he handled sourcing, due diligence for Seed and Series A opportunities, and portfolio monitoring. He holds a BA in International Economy Law from the Russian Foreign Trade Academy, an MA in Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property from NRU Higher School of Economics, and an FMVA designation from the Corporate Finance Institute.

Lisa Lea joined Greensoil in 2021 in an operations and administrative role, with over a decade of experience in operations and executive support. She previously worked in commercial insurance as an executive assistant and senior account manager, and later in Toronto's hospitality industry, including roles at the Thompson Toronto hotel and as Operations and General Manager overseeing several restaurants. She holds an English degree with a Sociology minor from Ryerson University (2016) and a diploma in Corporate Communications from Centennial College (2004).

Robert Smith has over 25 years of experience in sustainable design, operations, commissioning, and methodology, with expertise in sustainable high- and low-rise construction, HVAC infrastructure, renewables, and controls. Since 2013 he has served as Vice President, Consulting for Greensoil Building Innovation Services, supporting GSPV's dealflow, company research, and technical evaluation of potential investments, and has worked as a sustainability and energy efficiency consultant on new and existing developments. He previously served as Director of Innovation at the Minto Group, where he led sustainable design strategies, and holds LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Energy Manager credentials.

Shirley Soon joined Greensoil in 2021 and oversees the firm's finance and operations, including financial reporting, fund administration, human resources, and investor relations. She previously worked as an operational due diligence analyst at Albourne Partners, as a financial examiner for the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada, and began her career at Deloitte in audit and advisory. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CPA, CA.
