Investment thesis
Chanzo Capital invests capital, capacity, and community in high-tech startups and scaleups across the 'KINGS' of Africa's digital economy — Kenya, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa. It backs companies from seed through their exponential growth phase, offering seed checks of $50K to $500K and larger investments of $500K to $5M staggered from Series A to C. Beyond capital, the firm develops portfolio companies' capacity by strengthening senior leadership, introducing corporate governance, and reorganizing corporate structures. It also builds the broader African ecosystem through its annual Angel Fair Africa event, which connects selected entrepreneurs with invited investors.
