SEEDS Capital catalyses private-sector investment into promising early-stage technology startups in Singapore that have global potential. It does not invest alone but co-invests alongside identified partners such as venture capital firms and corporate investment arms, matching their capital according to defined co-investment ratios. Deals are split between general tech (up to S$2 million from SEEDS) and deep tech (up to S$12 million from SEEDS), with ratios shifting as rounds progress. The portfolio spans over 100 deep tech startups supported by more than 50 co-investment partners, reflecting a government-backed mandate to strengthen Singapore's early-stage technology ecosystem.
