GrainCorp Ventures backs early-stage start-ups shaping the future of Australian agriculture and food production. It targets four investment domains: analytics and optimisation of agricultural commodities from the farmgate, smart supply chains that add value across the agricultural chain, biotechnology to improve crop production and sustainability, and sustainability and circular economy solutions that reduce the carbon footprint of commodities. It invests minority stakes in software, hardware and new business models, leveraging GrainCorp's century of grower relationships, extensive customer network, diversified assets and global supply chain. The fund is supported by Artesian Venture Partners.
