Investment thesis
Oxford Capital backs UK-based technology and science companies from pre-seed through growth and beyond. Through its Backing Founders fund it invests in early-stage startups from pre-seed to Series A, targeting ambitious founding teams with an unfair advantage. Through Backing Growth it supports later-stage science and technology companies from Series A onwards that have demonstrated clear product-market fit and can rapidly scale. The firm invests only in companies with which it already has a relationship, either directly, through Backing Founders, or via partner early-stage VC funds. Operating within the EIS space, it enables individuals, families and institutions to participate in these investment opportunities.
