Former pipeline engineer Grant Brown combines hands-on experience managing and rebuilding Louisiana gas plants after hurricanes with expertise integrating decarbonization technologies into heavy infrastructure and structuring venture–project finance–public sponsorship deals.

David Deak is an Operating Partner who previously served as CTO and SVP of Lithium Americas Corp., overseeing technical, project, and marketing work on large lithium assets. He earlier led supply chain projects and battery engineering programs for Gigafactory 1 at Tesla, managed product and process development at MIT spinout Ambri Inc., and began his career in the CTO's office at Siemens Wind Power in Denmark. Ishan Meswani is a member of 8090 Industries' investment team focused on decarbonization. He previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York, advising corporations on business strategy and conducting due diligence for cleantech firms, and held multiple roles at Reliance Industries in India within the Office of the Chairman, working on corporate venture deals and the launch of Reliance Jio. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ken Wisian, PhD, is a geophysicist and retired U.S. Air Force Major General serving as Operating Partner at 8090 Industries, where he coordinates environmental-related research. He came to the Bureau of Economic Geology from the Center for Space Research and previously held a senior Texas state executive role covering disaster recovery, oil spill prevention and response, and coastal infrastructure and environmental protection. His research spans geothermal systems, modeling and instrumentation, autonomy/drones, applied gravity, planetary geology and space exploration, and infrastructure resiliency; he holds a PhD in Geophysics from Southern Methodist University and degrees from the US Army War College, Centenary College of Louisiana, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Shilpa Patel is Director of Operations at 8090 Industries, where she oversees the firm's operational functions including investment operations, fund management, risk management, and technology systems. She previously worked in client services and sales at Wells Fargo Advisors, served as an operations manager at a Brooklyn startup supporting BMW's carshare fleet, and was Director of Operations at a Los Angeles wealth management and alternative investments firm. She holds a BA in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Business Administration from Fordham University.

Emma Hessler serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO at CREO Syndicate, a 501(c)3 organization focused on directing capital toward low-carbon and sustainable development. Previously, she was the first Chief of Staff and Director of Financial and Organizational Operations at 8090 Industries, where she built the company's financial and operational framework. Her career includes nearly 15 years of experience in executive operations roles, including work with a UHNW family office, hedge fund, and venture capital firms including Firstmark Capital and Innovation Department.
