Ryutaro is a Partner at Catalys Pacific. He previously served as Executive Officer and Global Head of Nephrology R&D at Kyowa Kirin, where he led the development and regulatory filings of medicines including Darbepoetin alfa, Evocalcet, Pegfilgrastim, and Burosumab, and oversaw more than 10 product launches across Japan and East Asia. He is a graduate of Tokyo University of Science and a qualified pharmacist.

Sandy Mong is a Partner at Catalys Pacific with experience in business development, corporate strategy, and program leadership across therapeutic areas from discovery to clinical stage. She previously held BD and operations roles at Mariana Oncology (acquired by Novartis), BridgeBio Pharma, and CRISPR Therapeutics, and was a consultant at McKinsey. She holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and a B.S. from Yale University.

Managing Director at Catalys Pacific with healthcare M&A, IPO, and financing expertise. Previously spent 12 years in Morgan Stanley's investment banking division working on major transactions, and earlier managed a fixed income portfolio at Merrill Lynch's asset management division. Holds a degree from Waseda University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Yuki Makihira is a Vice President at Catalys Pacific. She previously worked in Goldman Sachs's investment banking division on financing and M&A, and has experience in the sports industry, including establishing a sports club, its internet media business, and business operations. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Keio University's Faculty of Law.

Maki Haginoya is a Vice President at Catalys Pacific with legal expertise and a background in pharmaceutical business development. She previously worked at Sato Pharmaceutical on licensing of healthcare products, contract negotiation, and alliance management, and holds a B.A. in law from Keio University.
