David Stein co-founded, scaled and sold two enterprise software companies: Workbrain (grew to 500+ employees and over $100M revenue, IPO'd on the TSX and acquired in 2007) and Rypple (a social performance management SaaS acquired by Salesforce in 2012, after which he held a senior leadership role there for three years).

Co-founder and Managing Partner at Leaders Fund focused on early-stage investing in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and ML/AI. He previously co-founded Tradyo (sold to Torstar) and worked at OMERS Ventures on over a dozen transactions, and was part of the founding team of the OneEleven accelerator in Toronto.

Co-founder of Leaders Fund with over twenty years of operating experience scaling six early-stage companies to successful exits, including early roles at Ariba, COO at Workbrain, growth roles at Rypple (acquired by Salesforce), and CRO at Applied Predictive Technologies (acquired by MasterCard). He holds a BS in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern and an MBA from Washington University.

David Kamenetsky is a Principal at Leaders Fund who joined the team in 2017, focusing on cloud infrastructure, devops, security, and ecommerce. He was previously an early employee at Prenetics in Hong Kong, working on international expansion, and is a graduate of Queen's University's Smith School of Business.

Dave MacDonald was CEO of Softchoice from 2001 to 2017, leading the company through market expansion, seven acquisitions, a public offering, and a PE-backed management buyout, growing it to a $2.4B run rate. He holds a B.Comm from the University of Alberta and began his career at Xerox.

Dianna Lai Read is a marketer at Leaders Fund, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in enterprise SaaS across Canada, the US, and Israel. Her background spans high-growth SaaS, AI, and enterprise technology companies including AWS, Lenovo, Datagrid, Float, FreshBooks, Top Hat, and TransPod. She focuses on narrative development, thought leadership, and content strategy designed to build authority and visibility in search and AI systems.
