Partner on the b2venture Fund Team since 2019, a serial entrepreneur and technologist with over 25 years of experience. He founded a digital consultancy in the 1990s and later companies in online media, social media analytics, and video marketing, spent twelve years in the Boston area including as an MIT Sloan Fellow, and has been an active angel investor for over two decades.

Christian Schütz is a Partner at b2venture who joined the firm in 2003 while completing his PhD focused on venture capital and angel investing. He helped structure the firm's first two dedicated funds and now manages its Industrial Technologies Fund along with biotech and health-related investments, and serves on b2venture's Board of Directors. He holds a PhD in Business Administration and Finance from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.

Co-founder and founding partner of b2venture, which he started in 2000 as an online platform for entrepreneurs and business angels while studying at the University of St. Gallen. He founded START Global, serves on its foundation board and on the board of Fondation Botnar, and champions the firm's intergenerational, angel-community model. His stated investment areas include B2C/new media, robotics, fintech, logistics and energy.

Gerrit Jurilj is a Partner at b2venture leading the Direct Investments Team, which he joined as an Analyst in February 2015 before becoming Partner in 2021. He previously worked in M&A and in business development at Venture Stars and EatFirst, and holds degrees from ESB Business School and Lancaster University Management School.

Sven Eppert is Partner and CFO at b2venture, first joining in 2004 when the firm transitioned from a business angel platform to its first VC fund, and rejoining in 2019 to manage a Swiss family office's Managed Partner Fund covering 40+ life sciences and digital technology companies. Between 2013 and 2019 he worked on tech ventures and M&A, including as a partner at i5invest.

Jorg Dornemann brings 30 years of experience across journalism, strategy consulting, media and technology executive roles, startup founding, angel investing, and venture capital partnership. He currently serves as Senior Advisor at b2venture and holds board positions, with expertise in digital transformation strategy and executive leadership. Dornemann has invested in and advised multiple startups throughout his career.

Anna Bosch joined b2venture in January 2020 as an analyst after completing a master's in business innovation at the University of St. Gallen, having previously interned at Foodora, Redstone, and Earlybird. She was promoted to Principal in 2023 and serves as the firm's in-house ESG expert, focusing on fintech, supply chain, and industrial tech.

Principal on b2venture's Direct Investments Team since 2021, working with the firm's angel community and fund teams across biotech, industrial, and deep tech. She previously worked in investment banking and holds a bachelor's from WHU and a double master's from HEC Paris and TU Munich.

Nicole Herzog is an entrepreneur and investor who co-founded b2venture and umantis, the latter acquired by Haufe Lexware. She served as chairwoman of Sherpany through its acquisition by Datasite and currently holds board positions at VIU Eyewear, Maestrani, and Inyova, while contributing to the Swiss innovation ecosystem as an Innovation Council Member at Innosuisse. Her work focuses on connecting entrepreneurship, innovation, and the space economy.

Beat Schillig is founder and president of Venturelab, a Swiss startup development organization. He focuses on supporting early-stage companies addressing global challenges including cybersecurity, alternative testing methods, climate change, renewable energy, sustainable food systems, and healthcare innovation.
