Investment thesis
ENV invests in European startups that digitally enable and accelerate the energy and mobility transition, backing software and market-infrastructure solutions that support three major asset roll-outs: renewables, batteries, and the electrification of transport. It also targets enterprise software helping large corporates such as EnBW become more digital and efficient (data/AI, cybersecurity, cloud, AR, quantum), and flexibility solutions covering behind-the-meter optimization and flexibility monetization. Operating as a single-LP evergreen fund with a €100 million setup, ENV acts as lead or co-investor, takes board seats, and can reinvest profits and follow on into later rounds.
