Henry Brodie is Operating Partner and Chief Operating Officer of 1kx and a Director of 1kx Management Ltd, where he oversees operations, finance, compliance, and treasury across the firm's funds and management company. He joined in 2020 and built the firm's operating platform, working with the founding partners on capital formation, governance, and platform strategy. He previously spent six years in regulated financial services as an investment associate at Pollen Street Capital, in the CLO team at Tikehau Capital, and in Global Corporate Trust at U.S. Bank, and holds a BSc in Business from Oxford Brookes University.

Wei Dai is a research partner at 1kx, working on research and investment in financial and security infrastructure across AI, blockchain, and frontier technologies. He previously invested at Bain Capital Crypto and worked with portfolio companies spanning zero-knowledge, blockchain protocols, AI, and security-critical systems. Before his venture career he published academic papers on security, cryptography, and blockchains, built blockchain and privacy protocols, and advised startups; he holds a PhD in Computer Science with a cryptography specialization from the University of California, San Diego.

Alexandra Miller is Head of Marketing at 1kx, where she oversees multichannel strategy to promote the firm's investments and initiatives. She has a 15-year career in marketing and communications, including 10 years of agency work, and previously held roles as Head of Brand Marketing at Roc Nation, AVP of Client Experience at Cartier North America, and SVP of Marketing & Communications at airport technology and hospitality company OTG.

Clare He is a Managing Director on the capital formation team at 1kx, where she manages limited partner relationships and leads the firm's capital-raising strategy and execution. She previously served as Head of Investor Relations at Genesis Capital, a tech-focused growth equity fund, was an investor at a consumer-focused private equity fund, and was a founding team member of a tech startup, having started her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and is enrolled in the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

David Alemany joined 1kx after working as an investment banker in KBW's Digital Assets group and as a management consultant in KPMG's Financial Services Solutions group. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and focuses on decentralized technology and open financial systems, including DeFi and NFTs.

Ed Brodie is Head of Product at 1kx, where he leads the engineering team and manages product ideation and delivery, incorporating agentic tooling into engineering workflows. Before 1kx, he spent over two years at Tribute Labs, where he oversaw operations for six DAOs, including governance processes and on-chain capital deployment.

Johannes Säuberlich is an Economist and Data Analyst at 1kx, where he leads the fund's economic research and data strategy and supports portfolio companies on tokenomics, blockchain analytics, and market insights. He previously worked at OpenBlock Labs and has experience building analytics and visualization solutions on Dune.

Karim Helmy is Head of Trading at 1kx, working as a discretionary trader focused on anticipating changes in fundamentals and market structure to position ahead of market impacts. He previously worked at Thanefield Capital, Galaxy Digital, and Coin Metrics. He holds a BSc in Statistics and Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University.

Marc Egloff is an Operations Analyst at 1kx. He entered the crypto industry in 2020 at Bitfinex after more than 15 years in traditional finance, and previously served as Finance Manager at Chorus One, where his work covered treasury management, accounting, reporting, and operational initiatives.

Before 1kx he worked with organisations ranging from early-stage startups to multinationals in regulated industries, helping them scale their cloud architecture and development processes.

Rachel Robbert is the Executive Assistant at 1kx, where she manages special projects such as offsites and employee expenses while supporting the firm's partners. She has worked in the crypto industry since 2019, previously serving as Chief of Staff at Unit 410 and as an executive assistant at Polychain Capital.

Robert Koschig is an economist and data scientist at 1kx, where he helps portfolio companies with bonding curve and pricing mechanism design as well as agent-based simulations. He previously spent five years building and leading data science teams focused on pricing, supply chains, and natural language processing at Wayfair, and worked for two years on BCG's risk team for financial institutions. He studied financial mathematics in Leipzig and at Rice University and founded a math education platform for students.

Taylor Rippingham is a Trading Support Analyst at 1kx, where he assists with trade execution, portfolio monitoring, and operational processes across digital asset markets. He works with the investment team on trading workflows, position monitoring, and the accuracy of internal data and reporting. He follows crypto market conditions and has built knowledge of trading infrastructure, token dynamics, and market structure.

Tom Kimmins is an operations associate at 1kx. He previously worked in operations roles at Tikehau Capital and Ares Management Limited, and is a candidate in the CFA program. His focus is on crypto and decentralized finance.
