Cryptonite Capital

Dennis Ly has over a decade of experience managing capital across venture capital, private equity, and hedge funds. He serves as CFO of Chiaphua, a century-old conglomerate, and as CIO of Alon Capital, a Hong Kong-based hedge fund. At Cryptonite Capital, he focuses on operations and sourcing projects and partnerships. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.

Mikael Wang is a founder of Cryptonite Capital with a technical background in Web3. He previously served as CTO and was part of the founding team of BTCChina, an early Chinese crypto exchange, where he built out the exchange infrastructure, mining, and security stack. At Cryptonite Capital he provides technical advisory to portfolio companies, contributes technological perspective to the investment process, and establishes security frameworks for fund operations and custody. He holds an MSc in Mobile Informatics and a BSc in Software Engineering from Chalmers University of Sweden.

Simon Cai began in business and law before moving into entrepreneurship, spending over a decade in senior roles across China and Asia. He previously founded and led Triple Digit, an e-commerce company helping brands grow in China, and holds a master's in accounting and finance from the Stockholm School of Economics. At Cryptonite Capital he oversees fund operations and builds the firm's Web3 network in China.
