Investment thesis
LU Ventures builds and invests in companies spun out of research at Lund University. In deep tech, it focuses on semiconductors, connectivity, AI infrastructure, robotics and sensors, software and applied AI, data security, and materials, energy technology and optics. Its Business Track programme moves projects and early-stage companies from research toward a first investment, and the firm supports founders through venture building, IPR and funding. Since the 1990s it has helped launch over 150 spin-offs and points to a track record of IPOs and acquisitions by global industry players.
