Sophie Allauzen has two decades of international experience in R&D, business development, and portfolio management across diagnostic industries, covering the full lifecycle of diagnostic products in both developed and developing markets. Her background includes overseeing malaria and neglected-disease diagnostic programs at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, leading blood testing at Novartis Diagnostics, and managing R&D for immuno-assays at Bio-Rad, following five years in infectious disease test development at Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur in France. She holds a PhD in biochemistry/immunology from Montpellier University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in allergy at the University of Minnesota; she currently works as an independent consultant.
