Investment thesis
Texas HALO Fund invests in early-stage businesses with strong growth potential and exceptional management teams, without regard to industry or geography. Each fund constructs a diversified portfolio of roughly twenty to twenty-five companies across sectors, sourced locally, regionally and nationally, aiming to deliver high returns at the lowest possible risk. Investments are screened by Managing Directors with sector expertise and are made via convertible debt and preferred stock; the firm does not invest in LLCs, SAFE notes, real estate or oil and gas drilling. The firm applies rigorous due diligence and provides ongoing oversight, often through board seats or observation rights, and makes selective follow-on investments.
