Investment thesis
MEDA Angels invests broadly across healthcare in companies with high potential impact, including disease management and prevention/wellness ventures. It backs digital health, SaaS, and AI/ML-powered technologies, medical devices, robotics, and therapeutics. The group targets mid-seed and Series A stages, primarily in the US and occasionally internationally. Minimum criteria vary by category: digital health and SaaS companies should have roughly $300K ARR with multiple customers; medical device firms should be close to FDA submission or recently approved with completed pilot testing; therapeutics companies are preferred to be repurposed drugs. Beyond capital, MEDA offers product-market-fit validation and leverages member networks to support portfolio companies.
