Tim Boire holds a BS in Chemical & Biological Engineering and Biotechnology from Tufts University and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where he developed smart polymeric biomaterials for vascular applications. He worked in R&D at Genzyme Corporation before founding VenoStent, which applies these materials to hemodialysis access.
