The firm backs early-stage European founders building technology to address environmental, geopolitical and financial challenges — spanning energy, manufacturing, logistics, construction, food, healthcare, cybersecurity and democracy. It provides pre-seed capital, a world-class in-person sprint program, mentorship from prominent founders, operators and investors, and access to its investor network. It can invest at any time, is happy to lead rounds (typically targeting around 5% ownership), co-invests with other VCs, and follows on pro-rata when portfolio companies raise material rounds at a 50%+ valuation increase led by a recognized investor.
