Sebastian Peck is a Partner at KOMPAS VC, where he manages the Amsterdam office and oversees investments across the Nordics, UK, France, and Benelux. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group and later worked in the TMT advisory team at UBS Investment Bank, then co-founded Digital Science, a UK-based data analytics provider for scientific institutions. He subsequently served as Managing Director of InMotion Ventures, the venture arm of Jaguar Land Rover, for five years before joining KOMPAS VC.

Talia Rafaeli is a Partner at KOMPAS VC, where she manages the Barcelona office and oversees investments in Israel, the Iberian Peninsula, and jointly the US. She began her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Barclays Capital in New York and London covering retail and technology, and later worked as an IT infrastructure consultant at Accenture in Madrid and Tel Aviv. Prior to KOMPAS VC, she led deep-tech investments for Porsche Ventures across mobility, software architecture, and automotive technologies, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a dual bachelor's degree in economics and computer science from Emory University.

Ilena Mece is a Principal at KOMPAS VC based in Berlin. She works on sourcing, evaluating, and conducting due diligence on deals across the German-speaking region, Central and Eastern Europe, parts of Southern Europe, and the US, and supports founders in scaling their companies and teams.

Nick Gosen is a Principal at KOMPAS VC's Amsterdam office, focusing on deeptech across both hardware and software. His current interests include cybersecurity, AI and ML, new materials, and energy, and he concentrates on the Nordics, UK, and Benelux regions. He holds an MSc in Business Administration, a BSc in International Business Administration, and a BSc in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Construction Engineering.

Hayley Smith is the Chief of Staff at KOMPAS VC, working across the investment and platform teams and with the partners on the firm's strategy and operations. Before KOMPAS, she was a Senior Associate at Freshfields in Amsterdam advising on EU tech regulation and litigation before the European Court of Justice, including a secondment at Apple, and earlier worked at Gibson Dunn in its London and Hong Kong offices. She holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge and is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales and Ireland.

Jack Cruise is an Investment Analyst at KOMPAS, where he supports the investment team with sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence across all regions. He previously worked at Pi Labs, running accelerator programmes and investing in manufacturing, climate, and the built environment. He holds a Physics degree with a focus on quantum thermodynamics and astrophysics.

John Miller is an Investment Analyst at KOMPAS VC, where he supports the investment team with sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance and a Master's in Management focused on Entrepreneurship. Over roughly three years in investment banking and venture capital, he has worked at EarlyBird Venture Capital and Ananda Impact Ventures, with experience spanning generalist, food and agtech, and impact investing.

Marette Vorster is the Executive Assistant at KOMPAS VC, where she provides organisational and administrative support to the team. She holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Psychology and a postgraduate degree in Psychology, both from the University of Stellenbosch.

Pauline Jimenez is Head of Marketing at KOMPAS VC, where she oversees brand strategy, PR, thought leadership, and content for the firm and its portfolio. She has over eight years of experience in marketing and strategic communications across startups, media, and large corporations, focusing on brand development, storytelling, reputation management, and go-to-market strategy. Prior to KOMPAS, she helped scale a women-led podcast, worked as a strategist at a Dutch creative agency, and led global content marketing for PVH brands including Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.

Victoria Burrows focuses on improving the sustainability of the built environment across its design, construction, operation, and repurposing. She previously served as Director of Advancing Net Zero at the World Green Building Council, where she led a global programme aimed at decarbonising the sector by 2050, and she co-authored a book on high-performance green buildings. She holds a degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from the University of Nottingham.

Yoobin Jung studied Chemistry and Fashion and began her career developing sustainable textile products. She previously spent three years at Plug and Play Tech Center, where she worked with global corporations on adopting technologies in advanced materials, clean processes, circularity, and manufacturing via startups. At KOMPAS VC she focuses on connecting startups and corporates to scale innovations.

Summit Rosenberg is a Senior Associate at KOMPAS VC, based in the firm's Barcelona office. He handles sourcing, initial evaluation, and due diligence for opportunities in Israel, Iberia, and the USA, and provides ongoing support to portfolio companies.
