GSAP is a government-backed, equity-free acceleration program operated by JETRO in cooperation with the Cabinet Office and leading global accelerators. It targets startups based in Japan that are pursuing or preparing for overseas expansion and fundraising. Participants are placed into course tracks—Enterprise B2B (Alchemist), AI (StartX), AI-CTO (ERA), Sustainability/GX (Third Derivative), and ManufacturingTech & HardTech (Centrepolis)—spanning pre-seed to later stages. The program provides mentoring, market-entry strategy, sales channel and partner development, and connections to investors and partners, with an emphasis on global (not solely U.S.) business development. Program fees are covered by JETRO while participants bear travel and related costs.
