He began his career at Pappas as an analyst and rejoined the firm nearly 15 years later, having previously invested in digital health and healthcare services companies at Echo Health Ventures and worked in corporate development at Chimerix through its IPO. He serves as a board member at the Center for Entrepreneurial Development, where he founded Strength in Numbers, a community for female founders, investors, operators, and ecosystem partners in North Carolina.

Anthony P. Lee is a Principal at Pappas Capital, where he leads investment diligence, structures financings, and advises management teams and boards on capital planning and strategic decisions. He has nearly a decade of experience spanning early-stage investing, financial modeling, governance, and portfolio construction, and holds an MBA from Duke University.

Joined in April 2021 responsible for financial management, compliance, risk management, and specialist investment advice. Previously worked as Fund Controller at Hines on the European Value Fund Series and began his career in audit at PwC Italy and KPMG Luxembourg.

Marcus Granström is Chief Financial Officer at Pappas Capital. His experience includes private company fundraising, equity accounting, corporate governance, financial reporting, international accounting including US GAAP conversion and consolidation, and SEC reporting such as S-1 and periodic filings, as well as oversight of Human Resources, IT/Systems Administration, and Operations. He previously spent a decade providing finance and accounting services on a project, short-term, or part-time basis at Together Consulting LLC, with clients including Atsena Therapeutics, Precision Bio, Novan Therapeutics, and Relias Learning.
