Aman Mahajan, MD, PhD, MBA, is a Partner at Healthier Capital focused on the intersection of healthcare and technology. He previously served as SVP of Health Innovation at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where he oversaw innovation, commercialization, and venture investments, and held the Peter Safar Endowed Chair in Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine along with professorships in Medicine, Biomedical Informatics, and Bioengineering. He was previously a Partner at Santé Ventures, an early-stage healthcare venture firm, where he led the health-tech practice, and earlier worked in healthcare consulting at McKinsey & Company in Silicon Valley advising large U.S. health systems. Carleen Maniglia is the Office Manager at Healthier Capital, with a background in executive administration across healthcare and banking. She has held executive administrative support roles at One Medical, Amazon, and UnitedHealth Group / Optum, and previously served as Director of Administration and Corporate Secretary at Stanford Health Care. Earlier in her career she was Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Greater Bay Bancorp, managing board, shareholder, and investor relations, and held administrative roles at Comerica Bank-California, First Interstate Bank, and Bank of the West.
