Counteract invests in early-stage founders advancing carbon removal, motivated by the need to draw down roughly 10 billion tons of CO2e annually by 2050. Through its first fund, Counteract One, the firm makes pre-seed and seed stage investments in solutions that are additive to the carbon removal ecosystem, aiming to catalyse 5 gigatonnes of CO2e removal by 2050.
