Investment thesis
MD One Ventures backs early-stage, product-focused DeepTech companies with strong commercial foundations that can advance European and Allied national security capabilities. It partners with founding teams building dual-use technologies serving both commercial and governmental customers, and invests across a range of subsectors and technology types (software and hardware) spanning national security, enterprise and defence, without requiring an existing government track record. The firm concentrates on businesses founded in or operationally focused on Europe and the UK, invests from pre-seed to Series A, and seeks to make follow-on investments in subsequent rounds while providing significant value-add through a founder-friendly approach.
