The platform emphasizes automated expense reporting to reduce manual data entry and manual expense tracking, with real-time insight into expense report submissions. Feature areas highlighted by the company include automated data capture, expense analytics and categorization, integration with existing accounting systems, multi-currency and multi-language support for international operations, mobile receipt capture, and automated approval routing. The company states that Emburse Professional is ISO 27001, SOC 1 and/or SOC 2, and PCI compliance certified.
