Investment thesis
Vocap invests in early growth-stage B2B and vertical software companies that apply AI to solve real, industry-specific problems. It targets companies with proven product-market fit, $2-10M in recurring revenue, strong and efficient growth, and reasonable cash burn. The firm writes $5-15M checks, leads or co-leads rounds, reserves capital for follow-ons, and aims for 3-7 year exits. Vocap emphasizes doing fewer deals per fund to devote more time and capital to each company, minimizing founder dilution through stage-appropriate capitalization, and providing hands-on operator support. It focuses on U.S. companies, particularly in Midwestern, Eastern, and Southern metros.
