Eastside Partners

Ramsay Battin is a Partner at Eastside Partners, which he joined in 2013, and previously was a Partner at the firm's predecessor, Southeastern Technology Fund. He earlier served as a Director at Arcapita Ventures and held business development and corporate finance roles at HomeServ, Lehman Brothers, and Robinson-Humphrey. He holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and focuses on healthcare and financial IT and services.

Wesley Pope joined Eastside Partners in 2016 and serves as Partner and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the firm's financial reporting, investor relations, and tax compliance while participating in investment due diligence and transaction execution. He previously worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the McLean, Virginia and Munich, Germany offices, focusing on SEC reporting under US GAAP and IFRS. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Alabama and is a CPA in Alabama.

Paul Reaves joined Eastside Partners as a Venture Partner in 2005, after serving as a Managing Partner at Southeastern Technology Fund. He founded and led TXEN, a healthcare information technology company he grew to over 700 employees and $70 million in revenue before its sale to CSC, and was previously an Executive Vice President at SEAKO, another healthcare IT firm. He holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has decades of experience founding, operating and investing in healthcare companies.

Sandy Pitman is a Venture Partner with over 25 years of experience as a healthcare and technology entrepreneur. He served as President of ProctorU (2019-2022) and previously as President of Hygia Health Services, which was sold to Stryker Corporation in 2018. Earlier he was President and CEO of SuccessEHS, a Corporate VP at Computer Sciences Corporation leading its healthcare payor division, and a founder of MACESS. He holds a degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.

Tina Corley joined Eastside Partners in 2005 as a Partner and Chief Financial Officer, having previously been a Partner and CFO at Southeastern Technology Fund. She has experience in venture capital, private equity, and M&A, and earlier served as CFO of the government segment of Nichols Research and as an auditor at Ernst and Young. She holds a master of accounting degree from the University of Alabama and a bachelor of science in microbiology from San Diego State University.

Benjamin Cobb joined Eastside in 2009 and focuses on B2B software, tech-enabled services, and education technology investments. He served as Executive Chairman of Meazure Learning from 2016 to 2020, overseeing its growth from under $5M to over $85M in ARR, multiple financings, and the 2019 acquisition of Yardstick Assessment Strategies. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Georgia.

Chad Falciani is a Strategic Advisor to Eastside Partners with over 20 years of experience as a healthcare entrepreneur, investor and advisor. He founded Curiteva, a medical technology company focused on biomaterials and orthopedic implants, and previously founded and led FMI Medical (2000-2008) as President before its sale to a private equity firm. He has served on the boards of several privately-held companies across medical devices and non-medical industries including banking, equipment leasing and insurance.

Jason Hopper joined Eastside Partners in 2022 as Head of Growth, focusing on sourcing new investments and supporting the growth of portfolio companies. He previously spent two decades in sales leadership across four Eastside portfolio companies, including SVP of Sales and Customer Success at Meazure Learning, SVP of Sales at BrightWhistle, and Director of Strategic Accounts at MedMined. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Auburn University.

Kristen Clute joined Eastside in 2007 as an Executive Assistant, handling the fund's administrative activities, including its deal-flow database, document repository, and investor correspondence. She previously served as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, COO, CFO, and CMO of SirsiDynix, a private equity-backed library automation software company in Huntsville, Alabama. She holds a BA from the University of Tennessee.
