Investment thesis
G-STARTUP, operated in connection with Globis Capital Partners, supports seed-stage founders looking to take on larger challenges. Drawing on roughly 30 years of venture capital experience, the program emphasizes the importance of financial strategy alongside business strategy at the seed stage, especially capital policy and equity story decisions with high irreversibility. Selected startups receive investment from the G-STARTUP fund, access to the G-STA SQUARE incubation office in Toranomon (jointly operated with Sumitomo Realty), discussions with GCP capitalists toward future rounds, finance study sessions drawing on past success cases, and participation in the G1 Venture leadership community.
