A pharma and biotech leader with 25 years of experience, Bruce held senior roles at Johnson & Johnson, Allos Therapeutics and Lycera, was a Venture Partner at Deerfield, and served as CEO of Passage Bio through its IPO. He holds a PhD in Biology and an MBA.

Graeme has a forty-year career in pharma and biotech across Europe, the USA and Japan, with senior R&D roles at Roche, GSK and Wellcome, and served as President and CEO of Takeda Ventures. He holds a BSc and PhD in Pharmacology.

Gerard is a Professor of Cancer Biology at Kings College London and Principal Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute, known for work on oncogenes such as Myc. He is a member of EMBO, the UK Academy of Medical Sciences and the Royal Society.

Jasmin is a professor of computational biology at UCL whose lab develops computational tools to study cancer evolution and personalised treatment. She was previously a Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research and an Associate Professor at Cambridge.

Jyoti is a Professor of Functional Proteomics and Head of the Proteomics Facility at the Institute of Cancer Research, previously leading proteomic mass spectrometry at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. She co-founded Cellzome AG, a GSK spin-out.

Laura provides finance and administrative support to the ALSA Ventures team. She is AAT qualified with over 20 years of accounting experience, mainly in legal and insurance sectors.

Michael has a 30-year research career across academia, biotech and pharma specialising in protein and antibody engineering. He was formerly Head of Lead Discovery and Director of Antibody Technologies at GSK Biopharm and held a senior role at Domantis.

Andre has a background in big pharma and research at GSK and the Broad Institute, plus experience in investment funds and early-stage life science ventures. He holds a BSc in Biochemistry and an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from Cambridge.

Julia has a thirty-year background in pharma and CRO with companies including Johnson & Johnson, Iqvia and Novotech, plus experience in clinical nursing and research.

Katie has experience in venture formation, investment and healthcare, with roles at Johnson & Johnson and Mercia Asset Management's Life Sciences team, and helped form Promatix Biosciences. She holds a BMedSc and an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from Cambridge.

Lorna has over twenty years in private equity and venture capital, including roles at EQT, Hermes GPE, Citco, Coller Capital, Ariadne Capital, Actis and BancBoston Capital. She is an ACMA-registered management accountant.

Robert has a background in venture capital and big pharma (GSK, Eli Lilly) and experience in university technology transfer. He holds a BSc in Physiology and a PhD in Neurophysiology.
