I just took my Caribbean home completely off the grid. 200 kW solar. 645 kWh batteries. Reverse osmosis producing 22,000 L of fresh water/day. ~$30k/month in avoided utility bills. Payback: just over 2 years. The future isn't energy scarcity. It's energy abundance.

Founded: Founded Princeton International Computers, a computer export startup he ran while studying. Founded Aucland, one of the largest auction sites in Europe. Founded Zingy, a US ringtone company he sold for $80 million in 2004. Co-founded OLX with Alec Oxenford as a global classifieds platform. Co-founded FJ Labs with Jose Marin.
