Ed started in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and became Head of Investments at Mediatek before co-founding Health2Sync, Asia's largest diabetes management platform ex-China. He co-founded Verge with Joseph in 2018.

Erki has over twenty years in healthcare and life sciences, having grown Quattromed from a University of Tartu spin-off into a major regional laboratory until its 2013 acquisition. He has invested across seed-stage healthtech and later-stage healthcare deals and founded the Health Founders accelerator.

A healthcare professional with over two decades of involvement in healthcare and life sciences starting from 1999 as CEO of Quattromed, a laboratory company he grew from a University of Tartu spin-off to a regional leader with 200+ employees before its 2013 acquisition by Synlab. Since 2013, he has invested prolifically in both seed-stage healthtech and later-stage healthcare deals. He is a founder of the Health Economy Association and Health Founders accelerator, and has held various executive and governance roles in Estonian and Latvian healthcare organizations.

Joseph began his career as a scientist developing cancer therapies and co-founded a medical device startup, later working at DM Capital in Shenzhen and Oliver Wyman's health and life sciences practice. He began angel investing in healthtech in 2014 and launched Verge HealthTech in 2018.

A healthtech investor who has backed 13 startups, Scarlett was previously Managing Director at Prudential Corporation Asia and Global Head of Financial Institutions Group at Anbang Capital, and spent over a decade in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and Barclays. She holds degrees from Stanford and SUNY Stony Brook.

Aparna Krishnan is co-founder and CEO of Durva Life, a women's health brand. She also serves as a venture partner at Verge Healthtech focused on India, where she works with early-stage healthtech companies from pre-seed through Series A.

Dr. Jeremy Lim is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of AMILI, a Singapore-based microbiome insights company developing a multi-ethnic Asia microbiome database to serve the region. He holds postgraduate qualifications in surgery and public health, and has worked across public and private healthcare sectors in Asia, including roles in policy advisory with regional governments and international organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, and World Health Organization. Beyond his role at AMILI, he serves as adjunct faculty at the National University of Singapore and Monash University Malaysia, and maintains board positions with healthcare organizations and advisory work focused on healthcare acquisitions and insurance.

John Yoon is Managing Director Asia Pacific at Joint Commission International with over 17 years of healthcare and medical technology leadership experience across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. He holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins and an MBA from IMD, and specializes in commercial strategy, market entry, go-to-market planning, and public-private partnerships in emerging markets. His functional expertise includes P&L management, medical device innovation, strategic key account management, and new product introduction across healthcare systems and digital health initiatives.

Joice began as an Engineering Project Manager at Apple working on the MacBook Air and unibody MacBook Pro, then co-founded tech and e-commerce startups before becoming an angel investor. She supports portfolio companies with international business development and hardware supply chain sourcing.

Lincoln joined Verge in 2024, bringing biomedical engineering expertise and venture capital experience. He graduated with First-Class Honors from King's College London, where his work focused on AI and deep learning applications in healthcare.

Marie joined Verge in 2025 with a background in early-stage healthtech investing at DvH Ventures and scientific research. She holds a Master's in Sensor Technology from Cambridge and a First-Class Bachelor's in Neuroscience from University College London.

Miguel previously served as Chief of Staff at Lifetrack Medical Systems and worked at the World Health Organization on non-communicable disease prevention, with earlier experience in biotech and molecular diagnostics. He holds a joint MSc/BSc in Biotechnology from the University of Manchester.

Riana joined Verge in 2023 with over seven years of managerial experience across marketing, operations, and finance. A Certified Public Accountant, she supports Verge in social media marketing, digital design, and finance and compliance operations.

Roberto Persivale is Chair of Vistage Perú, where he convenes CEOs, founders, and business leaders to strengthen leadership and decision-making across Peru and Latin America. With over four decades of experience, he has held leadership positions in hospitality, real estate, tourism, agribusiness, finance, and venture investment, including roles at Belmond, Jockey Plaza, Peru Hotel Group, Asesorandes, and Consorcio Hotelero Sudamericano. He has served as CEO, founder, board chair, board member, investor, and advisor.

Rupam Shrivastava is founder and general partner at Frontiers Capital. His interests span exponential innovation, algorithmic investing, theoretical physics, ancient history, hard science fiction, and travel.
