Carl Nicholas Ng· General Partner

A healthtech executive who entered the sector in 2017 joining Lifetrack Medical Systems as their first senior business hire, rising to Chief Operating Officer by 2019 where he led global growth of their radiology software platform and raised a USD 5.3 million Series A from Philips and Kickstart Ventures. He is an active startup advisor and board member for MedGrocer, a digital pharmacy provider in the Philippines. Previously, he worked at Bain & Company in Singapore on private equity, consumer goods and technology engagements, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ed Deng· Co-Founder and Operating Partner

An investment banking and operations executive who started at Lehman Brothers working on semiconductor and tech deals, then became Head of Investments at Mediatek, one of the world's largest fabless semiconductor companies. He co-founded Health2Sync in 2013, building Asia's largest diabetes disease management platform ex-China with backing from Sompo and Alibaba. He co-founded Verge HealthTech with Joseph Mocanu in 2018 and brings operational knowledge from his early digital health experience.

Since 2013, he has invested prolifically in both seed-stage healthtech and later-stage healthcare deals. He is a founder of the Health Economy Association and Health Founders accelerator, and has held various executive and governance roles in Estonian and Latvian healthcare organizations.
