Fabrizio Landi is President, Founder, and Managing Partner at Panakes Partners, which he founded in 2015 as Panakes SGR to manage closed-end venture capital funds focused on the life sciences sector. With 30 years of experience in life sciences, he held executive roles at the Ansaldo Biomedia Group and Esaote, where he served as CEO and general manager from 2006 to 2013 through multiple management buyouts and a period of public listing. He is president of the TLS Foundation of Siena and serves on the boards of Menarini Group companies and Leonardo, in addition to holding roles at Confindustria.

Marco Sardina is a Scientific Partner at Panakes Partners. A physician with a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology, he has worked across clinical research from Phase I to IV, Medical Affairs, and business development, and led the European registration and market access of safinamide (Xadago) for moderate-to-severe Parkinson's disease. He has authored more than 140 scientific publications and four patent applications, and in September 2016 left a role as an R&D Director to join the life sciences accelerator BiovelocITA.

Alessio Piuma is a Principal at Panakes Partners, a venture capital firm focused on life sciences and healthtech, which he joined at its inception. He previously worked in a regulatory role at ADemori S.p.A., an Italian IVD distributor, and as a stem cell researcher at the IRCCS Mario Negri Institute. His areas of focus include medtech, IVD, digital and AI, and biotech within the life sciences startup ecosystem.

Venture Partner at Digitalis Ventures who previously served as Head of New Ventures at Taylor Farms, where he founded and led Taylor Ventures investing in early-stage food and ag tech companies. He holds a BA from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Giacomo Piccinini is an Investment Manager at Panakes Partners. Trained as a bioengineer, he has experience in venture capital, the life science sector, and the startup ecosystem, with a focus on healthcare innovation and life science.

Lorenzo Giordano is Chief Financial Officer at Panakès Partners. His areas of expertise include budgeting and reporting across industrial and services companies.

Samuel Bjork is a Marshall Scholar with Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford backgrounds who pairs therapeutics investing with e-commerce, reflecting an engineering-health focus at the life-sciences and digital health/pet services intersection.
