Investment thesis
Squad Capital positions itself as fast, founder-friendly and genuinely helpful investors, offering its network and knowledge to portfolio companies. It syndicates checks of €100k–500k into pre-seed through Series A/B startups and explicitly does not lead rounds, instead co-investing alongside top-tier funds such as a16z, Sequoia, Index, Cherry, Kleiner Perkins and Y Combinator. Its goal is to help founders close a round with one of these leading investors. Membership consists of founders, entrepreneurs and operators at ambitious startups across Europe and the US, and the group is highly selective, asking members to commit both capital and time to support portfolio startups.
