Co-founded Bridges in 2002 with Sir Ronald Cohen and Philip Newborough and now serves as CEO, overseeing investment activity, strategy and operations. She has over 30 years' experience in sustainable/impact investing and development finance, previously working at the IFC and Shorebank Corporation, and holds a PPE degree from Oxford and an MBA from Georgetown; she was awarded an OBE in 2018.

Co-founded Bridges in 2002 with Michele Giddens and Sir Ronald Cohen, serving as CEO from 2002 to 2024 and leading investments in companies such as The Gym Group, The Office Group and The Hoxton. Now Executive Chair, he remains on Bridges' Investment Committees and advises the partnership. He holds a BA in Economics from York University and is a chartered accountant.

Abigail Williams is a Partner at Bridges Fund Management, where she serves as Financial Controller. She is ACCA qualified and previously worked as a Management Accountant at Tullett Prebon. She also acts as Treasurer providing pro bono support to the Bridges Impact Foundation.

Alex Wright joined the property team at Bridges as a Partner in 2025, following 20 years working across real estate investment including origination, capital raising, financing, and business plan execution. He previously established and led the UK business for the US-based Longfellow Real Estate Partners and spent 15 years at the London-based real estate investment and development firm Brockton. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Management from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology.

Andrew Levitt is a Partner on Bridges' Social Outcomes Contracts team. Before joining Bridges, he was Managing Director of a social enterprise called Baobab in Madagascar and served as a non-executive board member of two other financial inclusion social enterprises in Senegal and China.

Charlie Edwards is a Partner in the Private Equity team at Bridges and co-leads its Inclusive Growth strategy. Before joining Bridges, he spent 15 years as a private equity investor in the UK mid-market, leading management buy-outs, bolt-on acquisitions and exits. He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and previously worked at Caledonia Investments PLC's Private Capital team and at Alteri Partners LLP, where he was a partner and head of the UK. He studied Modern History at Oxford University.

Christophe Defert is a Partner in Bridges' Private Equity team and leads the firm's Climate Transition strategy, which backs entrepreneurs building technologies and businesses to make industries and services more sustainable. He began his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, then worked at TowerBrook Capital Partners, and spent ten years at Centrica, where he built its corporate venture business, before developing a climate-focused venture and growth strategy at HSBC Asset Management from 2021. He holds a BA from Colorado College, a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Edward Vaughan Lui is Partner and Head of Impact at Bridges, where he works to integrate impact across the firm's private equity, real estate and outcomes partnership strategies. He previously served as Interim Head of Sustainability at Permira Credit and spent six years at Aviva Investors as Head of Sustainability for Private Markets, following earlier sustainability roles at Landsec, Mace Group and Marks & Spencer. He holds an MBA from Bayes Business School in London, where he is an Honorary Senior Visiting Associate.

Kyle Bentwood is Partner and Head of Origination at Bridges Fund Management, where he leads deal sourcing for the firm's private equity strategies, focusing on mission-driven businesses tackling social and environmental challenges. Before Bridges, he spent three years at Lloyds Development Capital and started his career in the commercial team of the Formula One team Virgin Racing. He holds a BA Honours degree from Nottingham University and is a qualified management accountant.

Mike D’Aurizio is a Partner in Bridges Fund Management's Climate Transition Partners strategy, where he leads technology investing, sources deals, makes investment decisions, and helps shape fund strategy as a member of the Investment Committee. Before Bridges, he spent five years at HSBC Asset Management as an Investment Director, helping launch their first climate tech strategy, and previously worked over a decade at Centrica across energy operations, financial analysis, and business strategy. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Business degree from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.

Emma leads Bridges' Inclusive Growth strategy, focused on social impact-driven UK businesses. She joined Bridges in 2015 and has led five investments, with prior experience at Phoenix Equity Partners, a Hong Kong start-up, and Deloitte.

Henry Pepper joined Bridges' property team in 2019 with 17 years of industry experience, having previously worked in the investment team at LondonMetric Property plc (2008-2019) and as Associate Partner at Drivers Jonas (2003-2008). He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, with a BA in Business Studies from Northumbria University and an MA in Property Valuation and Law from City University.

Mila is a Partner and Head of Outcomes Partnerships at Bridges, having founded and led Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, where she oversees the portfolio and develops new outcomes models spanning education, wellbeing, housing, child protection, employment and environmental protection. Before Bridges she worked as a management consultant, at Scottish Enterprise, and co-founded the social enterprise Education Generation; she holds a BSc from Simon Fraser University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Simon Ringer is a partner at Bridges leading its property investment strategy, with over 20 years in the property industry spanning fund management and banking. He helped create the property fund management business at Charterhouse Bank and has managed property funds at Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance and PRICOA.

Lynn Bernabei is a Principal on the Climate Transition Partners team at Bridges, where she works on investment sourcing, underwriting, execution, and portfolio management. She has over 10 years of investment experience across venture capital, private credit, and public equities, covering areas such as resource efficiency, energy transition, climate adaptation, and metals and mining. Before Bridges, she held investment roles at HSBC Asset Management, Closed Loop Partners, and Morgan Stanley, and she holds an MBA from Wharton, an MA in international studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in economics from New York University.

Tom Street joined Bridges in late 2024 as an Investment Director on the Inclusive Growth strategy, working with management teams to grow impact-focused UK businesses. He previously invested at Agathos, focusing on the healthcare, education and business services sectors, and began his career at DC Advisory advising privately-owned UK SMEs.

Andreanne Segalla is an Associate on the Climate Transition Partners team at Bridges, where she works on investment sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio support. She has venture capital experience focused on climate, industrial, and health technologies, including biomanufacturing and carbon capture and storage, and previously worked at HSBC Climate Growth Partners and Air Liquide Venture Capital. She holds an MSc in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris and a BA & Sc. in Chemistry and Philosophy from McGill University.

Benjamin Davis is a Senior Advisor to Bridges' Property strategies, with over 20 years of investment experience across real estate, private equity, venture capital, operational platforms, and private debt. He was previously CEO of Fund Management at Octopus Investments and, before that, CEO of Octopus Real Estate for five years, and earlier invested at YFM Equity Partners and Interregnum. He holds an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Auckland.

Celia Harrison is an Investment Director for Bridges' Property Funds, where she leads on investment opportunities and analyzes the existing portfolio, concentrating on the living and healthcare sectors. She works within Bridges' real estate businesses Birchgrove and Renaiss Health. Before Bridges, she was the sole analyst at a London-based family office focused on development and investment in London and the South East, and previously worked with private equity and pension fund clients at Duff & Phelps. She holds a BA in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge.

Emma Moberly joined Bridges in 2022 as a Manager in the Private Equity team, focusing on due diligence of new investment opportunities and value creation across the portfolio. She previously worked in the strategy team at the Wellcome Trust and at L.E.K., where she supported commercial due diligence and strategy projects. She holds a first-class degree in History from Oxford University and an MBA with distinction from London Business School.

Henry Jones is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Value Creation at Bridges, where he works with the firm's investment, impact, and portfolio management teams to improve the commercial and impact performance of portfolio companies. He has over 25 years of operating experience, including leading the US West Coast operation and global tech practice at Axiom, a tech-enabled legal services company, and heading EMEA and international growth at Australian construction tech company Aconex ahead of its $1.1bn sale to Oracle. He most recently served as CEO of online mental health community Togetherall, overseeing a platform rebuild, rebrand, US launch, and growth capital raise.

James Taylor leads communications strategy, including marketing and media relations, at Bridges. He began his career at a high-growth startup and then spent eight years as a financial journalist, serving as senior editor of Private Equity International and Private Funds Management and earlier working at Management Today and Financial News. He holds an MA in Classics from Oxford University.

Lucia Santirso Richards is an Executive Director at Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, where she has spent about six years designing and implementing more than 10 Outcomes Partnerships. She previously worked in Investor Relations at Bridges Fund Management and in Equity Research at J.P. Morgan, and co-authored a Global Steering Group policy report on impact investment. She holds an MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris and a BSc in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management.

Millie Glennon leads the human capital function at Bridges, managing team-related matters for the firm. Before joining Bridges, she worked as a university research assistant and previously in retail. She holds a BA in Geography and Archaeology and an MPhil in Geography from University College Cork, and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.

Octavia Pillinger works in Bridges Fund Management's Client & Strategy Development team, where she focuses on product development and capital raising across the firm's platform. She previously served as a Director in JLL's Funds Advisory team, working on fundraising for real estate investment managers with institutional investors across EMEA, and earlier held roles in investor relations at IFM Investors and in Private Markets audit at Deloitte. She holds a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish from Cambridge University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Philip Carter works on the Client & Strategy Development team at Bridges, concentrating on product development, investor relations, and capital-raising across the firm's platform. He previously worked at HSBC Asset Management, where he supported business development for the Climate Growth Partners strategy with institutional and wholesale investors across Asia, Europe, and North America, and earlier handled business development for HSBC AM's private credit and structured finance strategies. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Tony Morgan is Chair of Bridges' Private Equity Strategies, with over 20 years of experience across investment and leadership roles in private equity. He was previously Chief Investment Officer of British International Investment, where he oversaw a $10bn impact investment portfolio focused on Africa and South Asia, and held senior positions at Onex Corporation, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, and Permira. He holds an MEng in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Chris Gibson is a Portfolio Director in Bridges' Private Equity team, working with purpose-driven management teams to scale early-growth-stage businesses. Before Bridges he spent nine years as a Director at the Flowerdale Group overseeing its private equity portfolio in Hong Kong and London, and served as CFO of a US paper-crafting brand he helped relaunch, scale and exit. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in South Africa after studying Finance & Accounting at the University of Cape Town.

Maggie Loo leads client relationships and capital raising across Bridges' private equity, property and outcomes partnership strategies, and sits on the firm's Executive Committee. She previously spent five years on the Bridges Sustainable Growth Funds investment team, worked at Climate Change Capital, and began her career as a consultant at McKinsey; she holds a Harvard degree and a Columbia MBA.

Paul joined Bridges as CFO in 2014, overseeing financial management, reporting, risk, and regulatory compliance for the firm and its funds. He previously spent over 20 years in investment management, including as a partner and founding CFO at Langholm Capital and roles at Mercury Asset Management/Merrill Lynch Investment Managers; he is a chartered accountant with an economics degree from Cambridge.
