She is an angel investor and advisor to over 100 startups, a founding team member at Farm At Hand and GrowLab, and serves on the board of the Immigration Employment Council of BC.

Ashwini Anburajan is Chief Executive Officer of Obi, a ridehail aggregator, and a founding partner of 22X Fund, a tokenized venture capital fund designed to broaden access to capital for founders. Her prior experience includes launching data-driven companies including Social Data Collective (acquired by 500 Startups Batch 22), whose products served major media organizations such as Hearst and A&E, and serving as an advisor and board member to multiple startups. She began her career as a journalist covering national politics and elections for NBC News.

Daniel Dubois is a two-time founder and exit who currently serves as co-founder at Handled and general partner at multiple investment vehicles including Side Door Ventures, a $100M early-stage fund, and Supernova, a growth-stage accelerator. He holds the position of global chair of Angels at YPO and previously worked in growth roles at Airbnb. Dubois has been recognized as Canada's Top Student Entrepreneur, a G20 Youth Delegate, and Top 30 Under 30.

Edward Kim serves as President and CFO at Utron Kinetics. He focuses on identifying market opportunities in industrial, defense, energy, and advanced technology sectors, and structures capital and operating systems to capitalize on those opportunities. His work spans venture creation, private capital deployment, M&A strategy, and platform development across emerging companies and institutional ecosystems.

Jackie Plashkes is an investor at Side Door Ventures focusing on blockchain infrastructure and digital asset technologies, including stablecoins, payments, developer tooling, DeFi, prediction markets, agentic workflows, real-world assets, and decentralized compute. Side Door Ventures has developed a network of founders, investors, and experts to support portfolio companies from early stages through scaling.

Jay Fraser is a biotech and healthcare investor and program leader with experience across therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices, and digital health. At Click Therapeutics, Inc., he serves as Director of Commercial Launch. His work focuses on digital health applications and their role in patient engagement and data generation for the biotech sector.

JJ MacLean is a Partner at Side Door Ventures. He is involved with the Side Door Ventures podcast "Going VC" and serves as an ambassador for Sandboxers.

Jordan Croom is Vice President of Payloads at Varda Space Industries and a frontier technology investor at Side Door Ventures. He holds a background in mechanical and aerospace engineering with experience spanning unmanned aerial vehicles, additive manufacturing, satellites, robotics, and autonomous vehicles. His investment focus includes frontier and deep technology ventures in space, infrastructure, climate, energy, robotics, and manufacturing sectors.

Turner Nashe is an entrepreneur and inventor based in Nashville, TN, who develops technology for delivering data and educational content to security-sensitive industries including correctional facilities, hospitals, and schools. He holds a doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from John Carroll University. Nashe serves as an organizer and board member at Sonata Bank.
