Investment thesis
Mist Ventures backs pre-seed and seed stage scalable, technology-based (deep tech) companies whose products rest on proprietary technology superior to the competition. It looks for focused founders solving significant global problems with a strong team in place, and prefers companies within a three-hour flight of Copenhagen so it can support them hands-on. Areas of specialization reflect the partners' backgrounds: embedded software, hardware, ASIC, telecom, machine learning, and algorithms. The firm favors a simple investment process and keeps founders as majority owners, investing up to about 1M SEK and staying actively involved.
