Pontus Nordenfelt is an Associate Professor in Infection Medicine within the Division of Infection Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences, at the Medical Faculty of Lund University, where he also serves as a Senior Lecturer. He earned a Master in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology from Lund Institute of Technology in 2006 and a PhD in Cell Biology from Lund University in 2010, followed by postdoctoral training at Lund University and Harvard Medical School before establishing his own research group on host-pathogen interactions and antibody biology in 2015. He is currently on a research sabbatical at the Scripps Research Institute with Dennis Burton as a Fulbright Scholar.
