Investment thesis
Viewpoint Ventures targets producer-led markets that make up roughly 20% of the US economy but remain analog and fragmented. It argues that traditional SaaS never became the primary workflow for these producers and that private equity rollups failed to empower them with technology. The firm believes AI is now enabling new tech-enabled business models across a broad set of professional and service categories, including real estate agents, financial advisors, insurance agents, mortgage originators, lawyers, and many independent business owners. These markets already support tens of thousands of producers, over $1 billion in annualized revenue, and more than $10 billion in customer spend, with AI accelerating their growth.
