Investment thesis
Razor's Edge focuses on funding and building technology companies that solve significant national security and dual-use commercial challenges. It targets high barrier-to-entry sectors including cybersecurity, data science and infrastructure, sensors and emerging devices, new space technologies (including earth observation), AI and autonomy, quantum science, and defense technology. The firm deploys capital into national security platform companies as well as dual-use growth- and early-stage companies addressing major technology gaps. Beyond capital, it provides operational support informed by decades of national security experience and leverages proprietary sector intelligence and deep relationships with national security leaders and program managers to stay ahead of budget priorities and mission needs.
