Investment thesis
Midlo Angels operates on the conviction that access to capital should not be constrained by geography, background, or distance from traditional financial centers. It aims to democratize venture capital by enabling diaspora investors to participate in wealth creation, startup development, and nation-building. The network connects promising early-stage founders with capital, networks, and strategic support, emphasizing seed and early-stage businesses—many solving Africa's challenges through creativity and technology. Members invest across information technology, business services, industrial technology, financial services, consumer and industrial products, and healthcare. Beyond funding, the network offers mentorship, community, and leadership programs, and seeks to become the leading habitat for underrepresented founders worldwide.
