Investment thesis
Vector Capital was one of the first private equity firms to focus exclusively on technology, drawing on over 200 years of collective sector experience. Since 1997, when it spun out of Ziff Brothers Investments, the firm has invested more than $3.5 billion via buyouts, recapitalizations, corporate divestitures, credit securities, restructurings, and minority stakes. Its multi-strategy platform spans the capital structure, including public and private buyouts, corporate carve-outs, growth equity, PIPE investments, and add-on acquisitions. A dedicated value creation team supports portfolio companies on product strategy, pricing, geographic expansion, supply chain, cost structure, procurement, IT, finance, tax, and human resources.
