Rita Sousa, a Southern Europe partner leading a dedicated ocean and climate-tech fund, co-leads early-stage deep-tech deals in wet-lab, hardware and software for ocean health, climate action and nature-based solutions.

AJ Barre is a Senior Associate on Vector Capital's Value Creation Team, which he joined in 2024. He previously worked as a consultant on EY-Parthenon's value creation team, focusing on buy-side due diligence, integrations and separations, and enterprise transformation. He earned a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.

Amish Mehta is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Vector Capital, serving on its Investment Committee and Management Committee. He rejoined Vector in 2024 after an earlier tenure there from 2002 to 2014, during which he served as CEO of Corel Corporation following its take-private. In 2014 he founded SQN Investors, a technology-focused hedge fund, and earlier led CommercialWare as CEO and worked at General Atlantic Partners and McKinsey & Company. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton.

Andrew Merget joined Vector Capital in 2025, where he leads credit opportunity origination and manages relationships with company executives, board members, advisory firms, and intermediaries. He previously spent over two decades working with technology companies as an advisor, operator, and investor, including as a Managing Director at SVB Financial Group, where he financed more than fifty transactions covering growth and late-stage private equity firms. Earlier roles included Principal at Hercules Growth Capital and investment banking positions at BMO Financial Group and SVB. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Babson College and is a CFA Charterholder.

Ashleigh Clock is Vice President of Marketing and Investor Relations at Vector Capital, which she joined in 2026. She previously served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Lateral Investment Management, where she managed the investor relations program and marketing initiatives. She holds a B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from the University of San Diego.

Dan Fletcher is an Operating Principal on Vector Capital's Value Creation Team, which he joined in 2018, with more than 16 years of experience in private equity and financial, strategic, and operational work. He focuses on post-acquisition performance improvement, executive leadership, financial and operational diligence, and organizational transformation. Before Vector, he was a Manager in Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Services Division and an Associate at Sterling Partners; he is a CPA and holds a B.S. and Master's from the University of Missouri.

David Baylor is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Vector Capital, where he oversees non-investment functions including finance, tax, legal, human capital, investor relations, and firm operations. Before joining Vector in 2008, he served as COO and CFO of Thomas Weisel Partners Group and was a Managing Director at Montgomery Securities, in addition to earlier roles as a securities attorney and a certified public accountant. He holds a B.S. from Arizona State University and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.

Drew Lewis joined Vector Capital in 2025 as Director of Procurement on the Value Creation Team. He previously worked in technology sourcing for over a decade, including three years as Senior Category Manager for Software/SaaS at Splunk/Cisco Systems and eight years in Technology Sourcing Management at BNSF Railway. He holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri with a focus on business and psychology.

John Fiyod joined Vector Capital as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer in 2026. He was previously CFO of Norwest Equity Partners from 2021 and, before that, CFO of Charlesbank Capital Partners for about six years. Earlier in his career he spent nearly a decade at Berkshire Partners and eight years as an auditor at PwC.

John Grissom is an Associate who joined Vector Capital in 2025. He previously worked as an Investment Banking Analyst and Associate in the Technology Group at William Blair in Chicago, where he focused on sell-side M&A advisory for software companies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in German from Amherst College.

John Herr joined Vector Capital as an Operating Executive on the Value Creation team in 2019 and serves as CEO of Planful. He previously was CEO of Avetta for six years and CEO of Adaptive Insights, which was sold to Workday for over $1.5 billion, and has held executive roles at EZ Shield, eBay, PayPal, and Buy.com. He holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Jonathan English is the CEO of CloudSense, a Vector Capital portfolio company, where he leads strategy and the sales function. He previously held sales leadership positions at technology companies including Allegro Development and ION Commodities, focusing on driving growth for enterprise software businesses. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Kathy Liu is a Controller who joined Vector Capital in 2019. She previously spent 12 years as Vice President of Finance at Blum Capital, a San Francisco private equity firm, and earlier worked as a fund Accounting Manager at Walden International, a San Francisco venture capital firm. She holds a B.A. from Shanghai University and an MSBA in Accounting from San Francisco State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kiran Rao is Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Operations, and a member of the Management Committee at Vector Capital, a software-focused private equity firm, where he leads the Value Creation Team. From 2021 to 2026, he was COO of Value Creation at Vista Equity Partners, overseeing a 150-person portfolio operations team across more than 95 enterprise software companies and serving on the boards of PowerSchool and Greenway Health, and he previously spent over a decade at TPG Capital as an Operating Partner on the Technology Sector team, with board roles at companies including Digital.ai, WellSky, and Univision. Rao holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Columbia Business School, and earlier held positions at McKinsey & Company, Accenture, Cisco Systems, and Asera.

Lily Choi is a Controller who joined Vector Capital in 2019. She previously worked at Bay City Capital, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm focused on life sciences. She holds a B.A. in Accounting from Hong Kong Baptist University and a Master's in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Malcolm McRoberts joined Vector Capital as an Operating Executive on the Value Creation team in 2020 and serves as CEO of Mood Media. Previously he was President of the Small Business Services Division at Deluxe Corp, where he had earlier been CIO/CTO, and held roles at NCR across operations, professional services, and IT in London, France, and the US, with earlier positions at Merloni Elettrodomestici SpA and Lucas Aerospace. He holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, plus a Masters Certificate from George Washington University and completion of INSEAD's AMP program.

Maximillian Chen is a Senior Associate on Vector Capital's Value Creation Team, joining the firm in 2024. He previously worked as a consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, advising C-suite leaders on technology strategy, EBITDA improvement, and transformations. He holds a B.A. in Economics from New York University.

Nick Ghoussaini is the Portfolio Manager for Vector Capital's Credit Strategy, which he joined in 2011. Earlier in his career he worked at Eastern Advisors (a long/short hedge fund), Veritas Capital, the Cypress Group, and Lehman Brothers, focusing on areas including private equity, aerospace, defense, and technology. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a B.A. in Economics and German from Tufts University.

Patrick Dennis joined Vector Capital in 2018 as an Operating Executive on the Value Creation Team. He previously served as President and CEO of Alvaria (formerly Aspect Software) and of Guidance Software, which was acquired by OpenText, and earlier held senior operating roles at EMC, Oracle, and Eastman Kodak. He holds a B.S. in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Prasannaa Ganesan is the CEO of Corel, with over 20 years of experience in operating leadership, M&A, product development, and go-to-market strategy. He has a long history with Corel, spending more than 11 years there including a prior stint as Chief Operating Officer during Vector Capital's earlier ownership, and has worked with several Vector portfolio companies such as Marigold and MoxiWorks. Earlier in his career he held roles at Versata and Trilogy, and he holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a B.E. from SASTRA University in India.

Robert Amen is a Managing Director at Vector Capital and a member of its Investment Committee, having joined the firm as an Associate in 1999. He previously worked as a Business Development Manager at Microsoft and as a Corporate Finance Analyst in the technology practice at Montgomery Securities. He holds an MBA with distinction from The Wharton School and a B.A. in History and Economics from Stanford University.

Robert Chen founded RAE Systems, a Vector Capital portfolio company that makes connected gas detection systems for real-time safety and security threat detection; the company went public in 2002. Earlier in his career he worked at Delco Electronics (General Motors), General Electric, Tektronix, Fairchild Semiconductor, and Hewlett Packard, and in 1981 founded Applied Optoelectronic Technology (AOT) Corporation, which merged with Hewlett-Packard in 1991. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Taiwan National Cheng Kung University, an MSEE from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and an advanced engineering degree from Syracuse University.

Ryan Byrne joined Vector Capital's Credit team as an Associate in 2026. He previously worked as an Associate in Lazard's Restructuring & Liability Management group, advising companies and creditors on restructurings, liability management transactions, and capital structure solutions. He holds a J.D. and M.B.A. from NYU School of Law and NYU Stern School of Business, and a B.A. from Rutgers University.

Sam Chabot is an Associate at Vector Capital, which she joined in 2025. Before that, she worked in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking Group at Bank of America in New York. She holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and Economics from Johns Hopkins University.

Sandy Gill is a Managing Director at Vector Capital, which he joined in 2011, where he focuses on software investing including cybersecurity and online applications. Before Vector, he worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at UBS in New York, advising software and IT services clients. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in History from Yale University.

Sid Gaitonde joined Vector Capital in 2025 as an Operating Partner, working with portfolio companies on growth, operational execution, and value creation. He is CEO of Vispero, an assistive technology and digital accessibility company, and has supported work at Mood Media. Previously he was President of the Retail & Energy business at PDI Technologies and held leadership roles at GE and Sandvik. He holds a Master's in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Sophie Cougle joined Vector Capital's Credit team as a Principal in 2025. She previously served as a Vice President at Sixth Street working on stressed and distressed public credit, an Associate in Macquarie Group's Principal Finance team, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Sydney. She earned a Bachelor of Finance and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honors) from the Australian National University.

Ximei Li is a Vice President at Vector Capital, which she joined in 2025. She previously worked as a Senior Associate on the tech team at Advent International in Palo Alto and New York, and earlier as an analyst in Goldman Sachs's Private Equity Group. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Zac Aghdaei is an Analyst who joined Vector Capital in 2024. He previously worked at SQN Investors in San Francisco and Balyasny Asset Management in Miami, and served as a fund manager for American University's endowment. He holds a B.S. in Finance with a specialization in Security Analysis and a minor in Economics from American University.

Alex Gillette is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Corporate Strategy at Fortress, where he works on business and product development and on expanding the firm's capital solutions for investors and institutions. He joined Fortress in 2008 in the legal department and served as Deputy General Counsel from 2014 to 2023, handling the formation and structuring of the firm's investment funds. Before Fortress, he spent six years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP working on M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions, and he holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

Eric Watson is a product executive with experience leading AI solutions at Google and Meta, and has advised AI startups over the past five years. He currently serves as a venture capital advisor, board member, and investor at Breakwater Venture, AI2 Incubator, and Alliance of Angels. His background includes product development in cloud and AI, and leading teams ranging from 25 to over 130 people.
