Fredrik Jung Abbou has co-founded eight companies, and the one that went furthest was the one furthest outside his comfort zone. Most of his ventures were online comparison marketplaces — electricity, mobile, invoicing, leasing — including Lendo, the loan marketplace Schibsted acquired in 2010. Then in 2014 he co-founded Kry, a leap into regulated clinical care, and it became Europe's largest digital healthcare provider: four countries, sixty or more physical clinics, around four thousand staff and a $2 billion valuation on a $312 million round in 2021. He is deliberately low-profile, has never taken a chief executive title and rarely gives interviews. In 2022 he co-founded Norrsken Launcher, an early-stage fund built to turn scientific research into fundable companies, and he invests across Swedish technology in Voi, Sana Labs, Trine and others.
