Investment thesis
FTTF invests in deep tech startups that build on Fraunhofer technologies, typically at the pre-seed stage and occasionally at seed. It provides initial checks of EUR 250K-1M and can follow on with up to EUR 5M in later rounds. Backed by the European Investment Fund and Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, the fund pairs capital with hands-on support to help founders establish the company and business model from the outset. It cooperates with Fraunhofer incubator programs AHEAD and CoLab and the network of 75+ Fraunhofer Institutes, and offers a broad investor network for follow-on financing.
