Cento Ventures

Dmitry Levit oversees investment and fund activities in Southeast Asia for Cento Ventures. He previously worked on the investment team at IDG Ventures, supporting portfolio companies in Vietnam and evaluating opportunities in Indonesia and Singapore, and earlier held business development roles at Yahoo! Southeast Asia across several regional markets. He has advised various investment groups and corporations on technology and media in developing Asia and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Yuan Lee Chung leads dealmaking and investments at Cento Ventures. She previously advised entrepreneurs and early investors on growth, fundraising, governance and strategy, and before that was a partner at Susquehanna International Group, where she opened the firm's Singapore office and led venture investments in Southeast Asia with a focus on Indonesia. Earlier she developed Hubert Burda Media's corporate venture investment strategy in Asia. She holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Rene Menezes represents Cento Ventures in Malaysia and has been founding and investing in businesses since 1997. He most recently served as CEO of CtrlShift, an independent ad tech company operating across Southeast Asia, and previously co-founded a market-entry partner used by global digital media companies. He sits on the boards of several companies he co-founded across advertising technology, F&B, and manufacturing, and served two terms as President of the Malaysian Digital Association.

Fanny Yap supports day-to-day operations at Cento Ventures and works with early-stage startups. She previously ran operations at FastJobs Singapore and held roles in talent acquisition for companies including Redmart, Grab, AKQA, Publicis Sapient, and Accenture Song, with a career spanning brand marketing, headhunting, and product and operations management. She is an alumna of Temasek Design School and is completing a functional analytics programme with Rise by BCG.

Geraldine Goh has worked at Cento Ventures for about 12 years handling office and facilities upkeep, travel logistics, payments, and administrative support for the team. Before Cento, she spent a decade in the veterinary field at Animal Recovery Centre and Mount Pleasant Veterinary Group as a senior veterinary nurse, then worked for a year as an Administrator and Customer Relationship Officer at the Singapore e-commerce marketplace JigoCity. She holds a Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and a Diploma in Biomedical Science, and is pursuing a part-time Bachelor of General Studies at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Jolene Lum works at Cento Ventures, supporting fundraising, portfolio growth, and co-investor management. Before Cento, she was an operator-entrepreneur and a founding employee of Nurasa, a Temasek subsidiary focused on food technology investment and contract manufacturing, accumulating six years of experience in venture creation and portfolio management across agriculture, food, and biotechnology manufacturing. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Comparative Literature and Physical Sciences (Chemistry) from Yale-NUS College and an I.B. Diploma from the United World College of the Adriatic.

Ka Kay Lum works at Cento Ventures supporting deal sourcing, deal execution, and communications. She was previously head of research at Iterative, an early-stage fund focused on Southeast Asia, where she assisted general partners with sourcing, due diligence, and post-Demo Day support. Earlier in her career she was a business journalist, helping establish the Southeast Asia chapter of The Ken as deputy editor and serving as a regional correspondent for DealStreetAsia.

Lee Buckerfield is the fund CFO at Cento Ventures, where he builds and maintains the firm's funds, oversees investment activity and compliance, and supports portfolio companies drawing on his operational CFO background. Before Cento, he held senior finance roles in the TMT sector, most recently as CFO of Touch Local Group in the UK, which was backed by Balderton Capital and acquired by Web.com. Earlier he led Financial Planning & Analysis for Advertising Sales at Yahoo! Europe and spent four years at the Financial Times working on online strategic projects.

Mark Suckling is an Advisor to Cento Ventures, where he was previously a Partner overseeing investments and portfolio management, deal sourcing, and supporting portfolio companies on growth, fundraising, and business development. Before Cento he was a strategy consultant at Digital Direction and spent seven years at the Financial Times, where he led commercial product development at FT.com and created the FTYourMoney personal finance portal. He has worked with the Singapore Government on digital investment strategy and public policy, holds an MBA from INSEAD, and an MSc from King's College, University of London.

Melody Madhavan works at Cento Ventures on deal flow, investment execution, and portfolio growth. She previously spent about five years in marketing and operations, including roles as a Brand Manager at Burger King Japan and Remy Cointreau Japan and product development at L'Oreal Japan, and later moved into startups and venture capital, working at Orvel Ventures during her studies. She holds a BA in History from Yale-NUS College, an MBA from Kyoto University, and a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University.

Mikhail Zeldovich is a US-based tech investor, former commodities executive, and licensed US attorney who has invested in South-East Asia for around a decade. He previously worked in business development at Trafigura and as an emerging markets private equity investor at Capital International Group, and earlier served as a negotiator and Associate General Counsel at the US Trade Representative and as an international trade attorney at Dewey Ballantine. He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a master's from the Fletcher School, and a B.A. from the College of William & Mary.
